HRMAC Leadership Series 2017

Description

Kensington is proud to once be sponsoring the HRMAC Leadership Series.  The 2017 Leadership Series features three programs designed to give you insights into key HR strategies from the perspective of the CEO. You will hear from successful companies, large and small, representing various industries about the competencies needed to build the right leadership team for success – whether local, regional, or global.  Programs will focus on driving organizational performance, how to engage strong performers to advance to the next level and how to support organizational evolution and drive change.

Each program features a lively panel discussion moderated by Phil Ponce, host of Chicago Tonight on WTTW. Plus, pre- and post-session networking provides opportunities to share experiences and best practices with other HR leaders.

April 19, 2017: Building and Sustaining a Talent Pipeline

A good leader can make a success of a weak business plan, but a poor leader can ruin even the best plan. Which is why all organizations inherently realize that effective leadership across the organization can return significant business value. To identify, attract, fill, and retain corporate leadership talent, companies need leadership development programs focused on hiring strategies, employee development, and career and succession planning. This session will focus on identifying current and future leaders and how to engage strong performers to advance to the next level. The representatives of the panel will discuss topics such as how to create a high performance talent pipeline, engaging emerging talent early in their careers and leveraging new learning and development technologies.
